Meaghan started Rocksbox by lending pieces from her own personal jewelry collection, and quickly saw a need amongst women to simplify the jewelry shopping process. Before Rocksbox, Meaghan was a consultant with McKinsey & Co, and Bain & Co, leading product innovation and social media strategy for some of the largest consumer and retail brands around the world. Meaghan holds a BS in Economics from George Mason, an MS in Economics from Johns Hopkins, and an MBA from the Wharton School.
Sonja Hoel Perkins is one of Worth Magazine's Top 100 Most Powerful People in Global Finance. A venture capitalist for almost 30 years, she invests in early-stage, technology companies. She is the Managing Director of The Perkins Fund where she "invests in people and companies that matter." Sonja is the founder of both Broadway Angels and Project Glimmer. Broadway Angels is an investment group of world-class investors and entrepreneurs who all happen to be women. Project Glimmer is a non-profit that inspires at-risk teenage girls and women to believe in themselves by letting them know their community cares. Recently Sonja received "The Jefferson Award" for her work with Project Glimmer. Sonja is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Harvard Business School.
